 We are back home to celebrate WDW 50th.  I arrived Friday, and spent two lovely nights at the Polynesian on my own.  MK on Saturday day, then dinner at California Grill on top of the Contemporary during the fireworks show with the music pipped in.  So nice!

Skeeter and the fam arrived on Sunday.  We met up in Disney Springs for a late lunch, then off to Copper Creek where we are all staying.

Saturday is Pool Day!

So for Saturday we have some time to use up.  We had to be out of our first rooms by 11 AM and we couldn't get into the Tree House Villa until 4:00.  So we loaded everything into the care, packed some sandwiches, leftover pizza and fruit and headed for the Pool.  Swimming, talking, sunning, napping (Kaykay.)  It was a nice sunny Florida day.  Then in the evening we took the boats from the resort to Disney Springs.  We headed to Splitsville for burgers and sushi.  Then we walked around the waterfront window shopping and did a little pin trading.

The first two days of this stay were spent at the Saratoga Springs Resort in two 1-bedroom villas.  This is a shot of my roommates from the first two days.  The two on the right were nice enough, but the boy behind them was quite the snuggler.

We went to Magic Kingdom on Friday, our first full day.  Played the sorcerer's game and walked around, but the lines for all the attractions were very long, since it was Veteran's day, AKA G's 18th Birthday.  We celebrated for her.  :)

Almost there!

We are about an hour from DWorld.  Skeeter and I have watched several movies, and he seems to be doing alright with his new braces.  Little sore last night, but okay today.
Traffic and the plotting of the GPS have not been on our side.  Lost valuable time yesterday on a "shortcut." Anyway, the end is almost in sight.
We have a tradition from the days when we went to visit Grandma and Grampa in Clearwater, first one to see a Palm tree won a candy bar...guess who won.

Kidani Village is FANTASTIC

The Caribbean Beach resort was nice, but Kidani Village is HOME.  It's a one bedroom with a full kitchein, a living room and TWO bathrooms.  The only draw back is our room is a hike away from the lobby.  More than once I've told B and E to take the child and save themselves, expect me around midnight.

It is amazing how much dinero we are saving by being able to cook for ourselves.  B has been making samwiches for us to take with us (PB&J and Ham and Cheese.)  With baggies of cheese and crackers or nilla wafers, plus freash fruit we are fine with onlu the occational snack being purcased at the parks.  We are cooking  much healthier dinners at night.  Garden Grocer has been a life saver, but we drasticcally under bought with our first order, so we have just placed a second order.  It gets delivered to our resort and the bell person brings it to us.  Woo Hoo!!

New Favorite Phrase - Fast Pass!!!

It is so great, why did I never know about this before!!  Maybe because the last time we were here you actually had to show up and get a piece of paper and you (or in this case your brother-in-law) can set them up before hand and then at the appointed time you just zip through!  Fantastic!

As you can see, Skeeter has reconnected with his sweetheart Minnie.  She was very pleased to see he was wearing one of her pins.
